Cybersecurity in the Industrial Sector

Immersed in a digital world, exposure to cyber threats is increasing. Attack vectors are multiplying and the risk of a cyber-attack is growing exponentially year after year.

Vulnerabilities are proliferating both in the corporate data network itself (LAN, Wi-Fi, mobile, VPN networks, etc.) and in OT environments (scada, HIM networks, IoT networks, etc.). Cyber-attackers have increasingly sophisticated means to exploit vulnerabilities in IT and OT environments, generating high costs for the company and even paralysing its activity.

While being aware that there is no protection plan that guarantees full security, companies must be aware of the risk resulting from not applying the minimum necessary measures. The objective of achieving an acceptable level of security is undoubtedly a challenge in which each company must assess the investments to be made on the basis of what it considers to be an acceptable risk.
