National Project Financing

• Initial evaluation, which consists of the identification of R&D&i activities and tasks, prior qualification of their nature and their level of technological maturity (TRL).
• Search for partners and technological partners.
• Adaptation to the best financing tool available.
• Proposal of the optimal financial mix and otimal fiscal for the Project.

• Study of the technical viability of the Project.
• Design of the work plan and validation of the proposed methodology, within the framework of a long-term implementation planning (from 1 to 4 years).
• Documentary elaboration of the application proposal for public/private financing for the R&D&i Project.
• Preparation of technical monitoring reports for the periodic certifications.
• Continuous verification of the degree of progress of the technical tasks, deliverables and indicators contemplated in the Project.

• Design of the optimal budgetary and financial structures of the Project and Study of the economic viability of the proposal.
• Follow-up and monitoring of the progress and degree of deviation of the real expenditure affected to the R&D&i Project, with implementation of corrective actions within the framework of the regulations related to it (Budgetary updates).
• Elaboration of the economic monitoring reports for the periodic certifications, including the follow-up and validation of the possible audits of expenses carried out by external entities registered in the ROAC.

• We provide comprehensive support to the promoters and beneficiaries of R&D&i Projects in administrative and legal matters. It includes the initial review of the calls, requirements and regulatory bases.
• Also, artica+i supports the promoters and beneficiaries of the aids in the management and interlocution with the public administrations for the signature of documents, declarations and official contracts of acceptance of the aids once obtained, as well as technical-economic and administrative modifications of the projects in time and form.
• We also actively participate in the administrative process to ensure the collection of 100% of the financing obtained.

We manage all kinds of financial tools, at a national and regional level:

• R&D&i lines of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, including CDTI financing, Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Ministry of Ecological Transition, ICEX, IDAE, among others.
• R&D&i lines of the Regional Development Agencies and Councils involved.
• Innovative public procurement.
• Private financing.

• For the specific case of R&D&i projects in collaboration between different entities, artica+i elaborates and articulates the content of the Private Collaboration Agreements that include the design of the organizational structure of the project for its correct functioning, and through this they regulate and plan the necessary meetings for the decision making related to the execution of the R&D&i project.
• Interlocution with the financing Public Agency, incorporating clauses for the resolution of conflicts, intellectual and industrial property of the results, exploitation of these, activities in the matter of diffusion and communication.
• Organization and assistance in certification visits.

From artica+i, not only does it promote new ideas for carrying out its own R&D&i projects, but it can also actively participate in national R&D&i projects as a Consortium Management entity, as well as in other technical tasks or communication.

Support in the definition, revision and optimization of business plans and operational plans related to R&D&i projects.

• Design and implementation of the communication plan of each R&D&i project, including mandatory actions for advertising the granting of aid.
• Support to the communication department, internal and/or external, of the beneficiary entities.
